Thighplasty

Thighplasty is a cosmetic procedure that aims to improve the shape and firmness of the thighs by removing excess skin and fat caused by weight loss or the natural aging process.

With the right technique, legs acquire a smoother and more sculpted appearance, giving you greater confidence in your daily life and in your attire.

At Vanity Youth, we treat each case individually and with absolute respect for your needs and expectations.

Dr. Georgios Papadimitriou applies modern thigh augmentation techniques with a focus on naturalness, safety and long-term patient satisfaction.

If you feel like it's time to get legs that reflect the care you give to your body, we're by your side every step of the way.

Medical Evaluation & Consultation Meeting

During your first visit, Dr. Georgios Papadimitriou will carefully examine the anatomy of the area, discuss your goals with you, and propose the appropriate surgical plan. Your medical history will be evaluated, and if necessary, additional tests (such as blood tests, cardiological tests, etc.) will be scheduled.

You will have all the time you need to express your concerns and fully understand the steps of the procedure and the recovery process.

Preoperative Instructions

  • Avoid medications such as aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs.
  • Stop smoking 2-4 weeks before the surgery.
  • Prepare your space for rest during the first few days after the surgery.

Realistic Expectations

Thighplasty offers a firmer and more symmetrical result for the thighs, but it does not replace proper diet or exercise. It is important to maintain a stable weight and follow a healthy lifestyle to ensure the results remain long-term.

Surgical Techniques

Internal Thighplasty: The incision is limited to the groin area and is suitable for mild to moderate sagging.

Vertical Thighplasty: Used in cases of extensive sagging, with a vertical incision from the groin to the knee.

Combination with Liposuction: When excess fat is present, liposuction is performed simultaneously for better contouring.

Recovery

Recovery ranges from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the extent of the surgery. Mild swelling, bruising, and a feeling of "tightness" are normal and gradually subside. The use of a special elastic garment aids in faster healing and maintaining the shape.

Risks & Complications

Όπως κάθε χειρουργική επέμβαση, έτσι και η μηροπλαστική ενέχει κάποιους κινδύνους:

  • Infection
  • Bleeding
  • Scarring
  • Asymmetry or skin texture irregularities

An experienced surgeon and proper preoperative and postoperative care significantly reduce the risk of complications.
